My sister-in-law in Seattle did something truly amazing. She decided she would summit Mount Rainier, at 14,411 feet the highest mountain in the contiguous United States, and then this weekend she did just that.

Because I can’t imagine what she went through to train, to prepare, to acclimate, to endure, to push through, when most of her team did not, I am glad there is a visual.

Yay, K!

Amazing effort. Even more amazing – how great is the weather! I was 300 feet high in Scotland and never saw blue sky.

She was amazing! Its been fun to root her on from the start of training all the way to her return from the mountain. Great pic.

You know, we just decided that Seattle weather was too cold/rainy and weren’t gonna move there, and then you have to go and post this, and now I’m questioning the whole thing again.

That’s amazing. It’s something I’ve been tossing around in my head since moving here but I don’t know if I can really push through. I’m so impressed!!

Kasper – please oh please move here. The weather is actually pretty awesome!
