Uh oh…did baby Jonah drop his jar of mini gerkins?!

  3. I heard a story once about a pregnant woman, who was so embarrassed at the thought of her waters breaking in the supermarket, that she carried a jar of gherkins with her, that she could quickly drop from a height, and when it shattered, say “oh no, look, I’ve dropped a jar of gherkins and there’s water everywhere”.

Maybe you’ve just seen evidence that this story is more common than I could possibly have imagined.

And I always wondered how she coped with birth and motherhood, if the thought of her waters breaking in public caused her such traumas of anticipated embarrassment.
